Okugawa,  Jr.,  a native of Chicago, is the driving force behind Khalil Halim's production and also the heart of the entire operation. He has produced all of Kari's instrumentals since his inception and he is also an aspring Video Game composer with a plethora of different genres under his built. He started to produce Beats in 2005 and expanded first into Video Game Composition after an entire summer of inspiration from Japanese VG composer of Capcom, Hideki Okugawa. Since being introduced to Hideki around 1999 he has in many ways internalized his musical stylings to bend genres to his whim musically. From fast paced Drum And Bass to downtempo 90s era House music, he is quite accomplished musician with his tool of choice FL Studio. Drum and Bass, House, Trap, Boom-Bap, Jungle, EDM and Rock and Roll are all tools of his expanded trade. Known for his multidimensional sound, he forges onward as Kari's go to Producer for any type of song he so chooses to rap over. Okugawa went on to Produce every track on Khalil Halim's latest release "People of The Book".You can find his other non Hip Hop influenced work on Kari's Youtube page in the Contact Us section of this website.
